Dr. Dewey H. Hodges Awarded 2014 AHS Alexander A. Nikolsky Honorary Lectureship, November 12, 2013

AHS International Executive Director Mike Hirschberg announced today that Dr. Dewey H. Hodges, Georgia Institute of Technology, has been selected for the 2014 Alexander A. Nikolsky Honorary Lectureship. He was cited for his “seminal contributions to analysis methodology of aeroelasticity and structural dynamics of rotors, and his development of textbooks and courses in these areas.” [PDF]

AIAA and AHS Recognize Location of VS-300 Development as a Historic Aerospace Site, October 1, 2013

On Friday September 28, 2013, the site of the first successful helicopter in America was recognized as a Historic Aerospace Site.
