The AHS brings these people together and creates an environment in which they can share, learn, participate and grow.

Membership in the AHS means commitment - commitment to the identification and solution of technical problems, commitment to meeting the needs of the user community, and commitment to support of rotary wing programs. This commitment leads to progress in developing vertical flight technology and to increasing the use of the helicopter throughout the world. AHS membership, fueled by active chapter and individual interest, continues to grow. The Society recognizes members and chapters dedicated to this growth through special membership incentive programs.

One New Member Sponsor Program: Each member sponsoring his first new member receives an AHS keychain and credit towards membership in the President's Club.

Five Member Sponsor Program: Each member sponsoring five new members receives an AHS mug and credit towards membership in the President's Club.

Ten-Member President's Club Sponsor Program: honors those members who have sponsored ten or more new members to the Society.  Members receive an AHS baseball cap and a certificate of appreciation.

Twenty-Five Member Executive Club Sponsor Program: Each member sponsoring 25 or more new members receives an AHS executive pen.
