About our speaker ....
PATRICK
DONNELLY
Director, Advanced
Rotorcraft Systems
Rotorcraft Systems
Patrick (Pat)
Donnelly is the director
of Advanced Rotorcraft
Systems for the Advanced
Precision Engagement &
Mobility Systems and
Rotorcraft Systems. Both
Business Units are
within Boeing’s
Integrated Defense
Systems. He is
responsible for all
research and development
of rotorcraft and
related technologies.
Programs include the
Joint Heavy Lift
rotorcraft, the A160
Hummingbird UAV, as well
as many technology
enhancements in support
of the AH-64, CH-47 and
V-22 production systems.
Members of the
organization are located
in the Irvine, Mesa and
Philadelphia sites.
Prior to this
assignment, he was the
director of Proprietary
Rotorcraft. Pat joined
The Boeing Company in
1980 in the Design group
of the Boeing V/STOL
Wind Tunnel and served
in a variety of roles in
engineering and support
services including
manager, Operations
Analysis (1984); senior
manager, Product
Assurance (1986);
manager, Tactical V/STOL
Systems (1989); and
program manager,
Proprietary Rotorcraft
(1996). He has
practitioner and/or
management experience in
mechanical design,
operations analysis,
weapon system
integration,
survivability
technology,
supportability and
program management.
Pat holds a Bachelor’s
degree in Mechanical
Engineering from
Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute, a Master’s in
Mechanical Engineering
from Cornell University
and a Master’s in
Business Administration
from Widener University.
He also completed the
Advanced Program
Management Course from
the Defense Acquisition
University at Ft.
Belvoir, Va.
