AHS Professional Chapters
Ensuring
that the goals of the Society are attained requires a great deal of
communication and coordination among all members. This begins with the
Board of
Directors and the Headquarters staff, and continues through each individual
chapter of the Society.
AHS Chapters sponsor a
wide range of informational and social events, enabling members to get to know
one another and have a forum to exchange their knowledge and views. Volunteer
chapter officers seldom receive adequate recognition for their hard work but the
Society recognizes that they are furthering the professional goals of their
peers and the continued development of the industry.
